Has anyone made a module that will pull sale items assigned to individual categories? but not shown elsewhere on the sale sidebar
eg(items on sale in laptops are only shown in laptops category)
I want to make sure I'm not doing this twice if there is one already.
You mean like a specials by category module? A special module and special page is allready in opencart.
That doesn't do QUITE what I need.
I'm looking for something that pulls up specials only from the category it's located in. Not ones from the whole site.
unless I'd have to make a custom page for each category? In that case how would the route go? "product/category&path=20"?

I've gotten specials to show up on certain pages but still not certain specials on certain pages. I've directed all the layouts I want on one page to one layout but I'm still getting all the specials on the whole site.
Am I missing something?
