You actually did it. Finally products report is almost complete.
If you take suggestions.
it looks nice and serving checking each product by it self in it's own page like how you did it, but it would be more serving if you could implement the same concept when viewing report>products>purchased as it will show all products in one page and then we can just click any product to see it's order ids and who purchase it.

Note: while testing the extension in your admin page, when I click filer it loads the product edit page instead of viewing the report. Just letting you know.

Great work
Thanks mate

Kudos. This is well on the way to being a big hit. There are a few things that I noticed.

1. Yes, this would be just as wonderful in version 1.4.9 as in 1.5.

2. I noticed that you group results by Option. What do you do when there is more than one Option for a particular product? Would it instead be possible to choose a display preference that lists all purchases of the product and underneath each one show the Options that were selected for that purchase?

3. I noticed that every time I changed the filtering parameters and pressed the "Filter" button the entire product repainted on the screen and brought me back to the General tab instead of bringing me back to the Product Sales Report tab (Firefox 3.6.22). Is this intentional, or is it an affectation of my browser?

4. Foolishly, I suppose, I tried to click on an Order Number, but found that it was not a live link. How much effort would it take to make it a live link, so that an admin could look at an "interesting" order.

Thank you for comments.

I have this for version 1.4.9 too.
2. I noticed that you group results by Option. What do you do when there is more than one Option for a particular product?
Yes, it works when particular product have more than one option, look at product Apple Cinema 30" in my demo.
3. This is how product form tables works when they are reloaded, maybe some javascript will help, I will look at it. But filtering is working.
4. Foolishly, I suppose, I tried to click on an Order Number, but found that it was not a live link. How much effort would it take to make it a live link, so that an admin could look at an "interesting" order.
It is fixed you can click on Order Number.

Thanks.

I will show this to my customer who has been asking for it, who is on 1.4.9.3.

I tried several products, but for some reason skipped looking at that one. I am still trying to decide in my own head whether the way you did it, grouping all customers who chose a particular options configuration, or my suggestion to list them all together with the chosen options below each order summary. Since my customer wanted this extension in order to tabulate option choices, it may turn out that your arrangement makes that task smoother.

Having to choose the Product Sales Report tab once the page has been repainted is a very small price to pay in order to have the functionality your extension provides. The extension will be no less useful if you never figure out how to automatically reselect that tab.

That was amazingly quick. I would not say it is "fixed", though. I would say it is "improved".
