its going to be fixed int he next version. It can be disabled fromt he admin though and use normal add to cart.

Where in the admin area? I don't see any options for 'adding to cart'.

Go to
Extensions/modules
Cart - - Edit

AJAX set to Disable.

That will fix the sub total error.
