By doing a test, I notice that the email that you receive, there is no picture of the theme (Aniversáio / Christmas / etc ..) and also does not show the logo of the store.
Also notice that the registration of a new customer and order also does not appear in the logo of the store.
Anyone know the solution?
I use as email service Gmail.
Thanks,

works fine for me:
why don't you post the message source.
also where is the mail beening sent from? the same server as your site or going through smtp?
this might be a setting on gmail. check the gmail settings to allow inline images to be shown!

Daniel,
Now I want to thank you for your attention to this matter.
Responding to what you ask me:
The email sent by the server where you installed the OC, it's not SMTP.
I have reviewed all the settings for my gmail and everything is correct.
As you ask you send the source code of the message:

as i selected underline, on the source code, the error is in the image source .... right?
There is one more part of the code that is too long so do not put all.
Now that I am at home, please know that when you open gmail in Google Chrome Browser, I can see the image.
I do not understand why in Internet Explorer Version 8 and 9, you can not see ...... since most of my clients use this browser.
Is there a solution?
Thank´s

I can see images with no problem using the latest firefox and chrome. I haven't tested in internet explorer. The email code you just posted looks fine. If you can see it in chrome, then it's not an opencart issue, it might be something as simple as a setting in your browser. Check firefox options, and look under the content tab to see if "Load images automatically" is checked. Just a guess.az-vm wrote:Daniel wrote:works fine for me:

Please test on your Internet Explorer, ok?

Well I use linux and really hate internet explorer, but that's me
. Just checked gmail with internet explorer and you're right, it's no showing the images. But as far as I know, that's a gmail&internet explorer issue. You can google that.

I found just generally thunderbird just does not show store logos in many things that i have running which are non OC based:(
Regards
Chris
Generally, most mail clients will not show graphics until you allow them to by clicking a button or adding a sender to your whitelist.
This is the same for other mail clients too.
However, I do not even get the option to allow graphics with OC mails that should contain them (i.e. store logos)

Ok, this is a problem with the Internet Explorer and Gmail.....
So how do I see the images in Internet Explorer V.8 and V9, in Gmail but working with the OC 1.5.1.1?
This is the big question ...? it could not be seen in the previous version, it would not report this here ... are to understand?
And unfortunately, most people (users who buy online stores, not programmers) use Internet Explorer, and it was very good to work for the greatest number of people, and so the online store might be more dignified.
Thank you!

i can always make the images linked back to the owners site.
it would be easier and make things more compatible.
they would of course have to allow the mail to to show the images.
the only problem might be if some one has hot linking protection on.

Sounds like a good idea to me.
Although I am biased because I and most of my clients use Thundbird (throughh my recommendation).
Now they are all attacking me with sticks and blunt instruments lol

Perhaps just create the option in admin to imbed images or not. that way you have the best of both worlds.
