The checkout you are working on, will it work with downloadable products?
yes it will work with downloadable products, it will force account creation though just like the current system.
And will it work for shops that dont sell to consumers but to other companies?
The only difference, I guess, is the field the costumer need to fill for a registration, company name, name on the person who order, and such.
Not really sure what you are asking here The current system works for businesses or individuals. The only difference in mine is that I will have settings to make certain fields required/optional/hidden. the company field is one of those fields along with telephone fax and the address 2.
Will it be possibly to change language? So instead of english, I can have it in Swedish.. If I or someone else do the translating of course. Im a complete newbie so I have to ask about such "trivial things" :P
Yes you will be able to translate it just like any other page. you would just have to copy it's language file into proper folder for your language and translate everything.

Thanks for you answer. Your pic only showed fields for individuals, so I had to ask. You answered so I got the information I was asking for but I did look more into it and have another queastion.

In Sweden we have our way of buying stuf on the net. The customer most of the time, need to fill in his/her national identification number in a required field when he/she register. This number is similiar to a national insurance number/ social security number and alla Swedes have one and all companys in Sweden got a similar number (both have 10 numbers and looking like xxxxxx-xxxx).

Will it be possibly to add a new field for this type of information or edit an existing field?. Since all the other fields, may probably also be needed for some people it would not be a perfect solution to edit a existing field, but it may do it for many, like myself.

Today, it seems that Swedes who use Opencart either skip it and dont keep that information. When you buy with a card and such, you identify yourself when the purshase actually is made. So its no big problem. Some people add a module to fix it. Would it be possibly to combine a module with your checkout? For example. http://translate.google.se/translate?hl ... _id%3D3431

Hope I give you enough info to understand. Will it require alot of time to fix a solution so you could add a new field or edit one, skip it. Your solution seems to be enough for most people and much better than the original checkout.

well it won't be included by default, but I could work with you on a custom project once it's done, or you could simply rename on of the fields that is not being used in the language file and make it required. As I said all the fields that are not required by the system are going to have admin control to be hidden/optional/required, the code for that is actually already in there, and that's why many of the fields weren't shown in the screenshot I had them set to hidden.
