Email to store owner when new order is placed

HI There again: just installed v1.27 & install is fine
except that I cannot get order emails sent to the store owners/admin email address
I turned on Alert Mail.
email works fine when sent via the contact us form
I am totally confused now

I just noticed a mistake.

don't worry i will release another version tomorrow with the fix and some more stuff.

why in the background---email option,i can not send email to my customers,please!
And in the contact us form,the email is also not woring,what can i do?

check with your host why your emails are not working.
