Hi everybody, I am using OpenCart 1.5.1.1 and I wonder if there is a way to make the price of the shipping depend on the price of the product? The thing is, when I send products to people and I choose the option cash on delivery the rate is not flat. It is 2.8% of the price plus the flat rate (or something like that, I will ask again how they calculate it today). Thanks in advance.

I have a Total-Based Shipping extension that would let you set a base cost (i.e. the flat rate) plus 2.8% of the order total. You can take a look at it here:

Thank you! That looks exactly like what I need. I might as well purchase it in the next couple of days :)

Very dramatic intro paragraph :)
A bit of a wording issue here:
Not very professional - is'nt it?
Just doesn't make sense.

I for my self see no dramatic.

If you would quote the complete paragraph
This means no more confusing options for the customer he has to choose. Also no more queries like 'thank you for shopping with us, but we are sorry we have to switch to another shipping cost because you have chosen the incorrect'.
it does.

But great if you are reading my articles.
And I corrected that line for better understanding - thx Q.
