[1.5.1] products on home page

Ok, I have learned a lot about the new 1.5.1 version. But I am not sure how to display the products on the home page,. I can do the feature items, the special and the best sellers all ok and even the banner. but how do the products get displayed on the home page like the 1.4.9 versions?

Oc 1.4.9.x use latest module on homepage

Try latest module with Layout Position => Home

well that kind of does it, but it isn't in any real order. And it is limited to however many items you decide to choose and then it is only the latest items posted in the products section not all of the products.

im still learning too after deleting all the installed products, I could not get them to show up.
Go to Catagorie, "Design" tab, Stores: "default" overide "default" with "default" being the unchanged name of your store

osso12 I am confused. I do not have a design tab under Catagorie. I do have in system -layouts and several options there.
