Hello, I have installed opencart into a directory that i did not want it in and all of my products are in it.

You could simply move all the opencart files to the new directory you want it in and just simply make an edit to two files to point everything properly.
The two files are:
CONFIG.PHP in the main directory you installed open cart in
ADMIN -> CONFIG.PHP
Both sections look for the // DIR and make the necessary edits (its very straightforward)
