Hello

After installing the import/export extension (contribution?) i got the following message
when going to to the backup-restore option:

Fatal error: Class 'Controllermodulelayout' not found in C:\wamp\www\system\engine\controller.php on line 54

I'm under the impression that is has something to do with the PEAR part for PHP
Haven't figured that out yet

With regards

Have you installed the latest version of the Export/Import module on your server?

I don't think this error message has anything to do with the Export/Import.

The layout controller file is now located at
  • catalog/controller/common/layout.php
and not anymore in the
  • catalog/controller/module/layout.php
What version of Opencart are you using? Have you installed other contributions, too?

Hello

I Installed the latest edition of the impex module last night
I use opencart 1.2.6
I read about the pear-php installation in the instructions
it looks like it is installed although i cant seem to check id it is running
I run the latest WAMP on my local system

There are regular erros about missing *.php or *.tpl files
after searching them in the folders eand copying them to the right place
normally everything works fine.

If you can't get it to work, try a fresh install of Opencart 1.2.7 and the latest Export/Import module.
If you still get the error messages, tell us exactly what they are, and I can try to get it resolved from there.

Hello

Reinstalled:
- opencart 1.2.7
- Category Descriptions 126
- go-pear.bat

made an export doc 'mijn_eigen.ods' yesterday evening
today i tried to import 'mijn_eigen.ods'
result:
Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'PK' at line 1
Error No: 1064

the rest is all garbage
the programm itself seem to run properly
looks like the status is now -> rebuild my data

Hello

Latest update

Seemd to have mist the latest update for the impex module
Installed the latest version an tried
- exporting, resulting in the following error

Warning: require_once(PEAR.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\wamp\www\admin\Spreadsheet\Excel\Writer.php on line 35

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'PEAR.php' (include_path='.;C:\php5\pear') in C:\wamp\www\admin\Spreadsheet\Excel\Writer.php on line 35

Looks like the problem is in the hard-coded path for pear.php?

You need to install the PEAR library.

Hello

Having trouble with installing the PEAR thing and some very promissing extensions from Fido-x.
Takes me too much time for now.

Will work with opencart and the categorie description extension.
For the other extensions I will probably have to wait untill they are easier installable or I have more time to look into it.

Thanks for now and.....
I'll be back

Is there is a reason why your server has to run on Windows?

Most webhosts use Linux and have Pear pre-installed or easy install options for this library from the cPanel.

what is the impex module?

I am having the same issue where it provides me with a 1064 error with a bunch of other data showing on the screen.

I have verified that my PHP has been packaged with Pear.

Is there a limit on how much can be imported? I have around 1900 products.

I think I solved it - I haven't tested, but maybe you could confirm something.

The error message is a MySQL syntax error - 1064. I believe that relates to 'improper' data. I was originally looking at the wrong work sheet, however, I looked on the Options worksheet. If there is a blank 'option (column c) would that generate an error? I noticed that I added an option but I didn't add the option name. I believe that is what the issue is when this syntax error appears.

To follow up to my last post - that was it. If you receive a 1064 error that points to a line in your spreadsheet .... you most likely left a blank in a required 'field'.
