I've been using opencart for over a year now and i'm very happy with the software. It runs very quickly and customers find it easy to place orders. Therefore i would like to continue using opencart and upgrade to the latest version. I'm now running 1.4.7 and would like to upgrade to 1.5.1.1. I'm a bit confused about which upgrade script to use.
Is it this one perhaps? http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=36519

I have the same issue, If upgrade, will I lose all my listed products and prices? I do not mind loosing the modified extensions pages.

That script is the ONLY one.

Keep in mind that upgrading a live store should be done carefully and be well tested after.

So you should check first if the third party add-ons you use (modules, template and modifications) work with the new version.

The upgrade should be done off-line (on a test server / store), tested and then moved to the live store.
Running it direct on the live store will give a 99% sure disaster.

The upgrade does not always lose products and prices. If you are not using options then it will upgrade everything and not loose anything. If you do have options you won't have any options after the upgrade.
