Looks great, well done.
I noticed the contributions area finally only contains Opencart 1.x specific addons, which is good.

I just looked at the new site in Safari 4 Beta and didn't see any problems either.
By the way, great job on the new site. It's much better and fresher. One suggestion: put the curent version somewhere on the front page... such as on the download button.

I like the new website, I have visited the site last week and read some of the reviews and the community forum. I'm an oscommerce's user, but opencart really interest me and now I'm making one using this program.
I just installed it to my server after reading and searching for other opensource ecommerce program...I just have one question, I'm trying to look for the SEO URLS module to rewrite my URL. It cannot be found.

1. The problem is these urls look nice, but don't offer any search engine optimisation. Google has said many times in its blogs that it does not give higher ranking to urls with keywords int hem or SEO.
2. They don't work very well. There are no big name web sites using seo url's. Sure there are some sites with text in the url but they also have ? & and =.
3. There is a standard format for writing URL's that works with the built in functions of javascript and php.
4. If you have more than one product with the same name that will cause problems.
5. This type of feature is fine for bolgs but when you are taking about categories, products manufacturers, pages, sort order etc.. things fall over very quickly.
Also look how magento does theirs.
category_1/category_2/
then if you click product and it changes to:
product_1.html
it should change to:
category_1/category_2/product_1.html

Hi,
I am interested to discover why people think that SEO url's are important in todays web site design and implementation.
In my experience SEO url's are potentially a lot of work for very very little gain these days.
They also open a potential can of worms when modifications are required to the core code to facilitate new functionality.
The search engines don't need them as most of the algorithms work on the page content these days so the only benefits would be that the url is pretty and so a visitor could try and remember the url when they need to look for that specific product or piece of information in the future.
But then again I may be missing something...
Let me know if I am.
Phil.

SEF URLs are rather for the users, IMO. You surely noticed, that Firefox 3, Google Chrome and IE8 support the search for the strings typed in the address bar. For me, for instance, it's much more easier to find a bookmarked site or a recently visited site, even when I remember only a keyword.
BTW, a suggestion for the 'Contributions' section. Would it be possible to reverse order the submissions (the newest first)? Let's see my contribution, the Hungarian language. Langpack for 1.1.9 is the first, and it would be easier to find the latest contribution if the sort order was reversed.
Congrats on the new look anyway
