Hello everyone!
I am new here, and am in the midst of the installation process. I ran into a PHP version error during the pre-check and changed the servers settings to utilize PHP 5.0, however, now when I initialize the install, I am receiving these error messages:
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/tmp/sess_35ae2cca87ba303541ba85c10579df54, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in...
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent...
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by...
Warning: Unknown: open(/tmp/sess_35ae2cca87ba303541ba85c10579df54, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in Unknown on line 0
Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct () in Unknown on line 0
I ran into a similar problem once before while installing a different script, but it has been so long ago, I can't recall what was causing it (although it turned out to be something simple).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Fixed!
I tried something I found on another post:
I deleted "config.php" and "admin/config.php" files and simply installed empty files.
Apparently something had already been written to these files upon my first attempt
at the install with the incorrect version of PHP running on the server.
