Still making changes to the layout in terms of moving some icons and changing font colors, but I wanted to show off how easy it is to manipulate OpenCart. It was simple, and fairly straight forward. The only issue I ran into was the layout.tpl page was linking the stylesheet.css with a direct code (catalog/view/theme/default/stylesheet/stylesheet.css) instead of using a .root command. Just make this change in the layout.tpl and the files should work beautifully.
