Hi all!

I've recently been working on a module for one of my clients which involved product options stock control. This has been a rather interesting experience, both from a PHP development perspective, and an opencart perspective. I see this particular component being very useful to the wider community and as such I would like to provide it.

That said however, I'm not entirely sure what the best way to package it is. There are multiple areas within the library that I've had to update, as well as the product.php controller in both admin, and in the catalog. On top of that, I'm wondering if it's worthwhile making it automated so that when an order is shipped, it automatically reduces the quantity for the product options selected, or if it should be done at checkout, or if it should be done manually.

This thread is mostly for feedback from the community - I've already developed and released it for a client but now I want to figure out the best way to distribute it to everyone else. I've looked up modules, but this doesn't look like what I'm after.

Am open to input :)
