Hi everyone!

I'm facing a small problem in my shop. I have a product that exceeds the 400 minimum for free shipping, but I don't want it to be shipped free. It has "Requires shipping - ON", but it shows "Free shipping" at checkout.

How can I eliminate free shipping for it?

I'm using Open Cart 1.5.4.1 on http://www.importpieseauto.ro

Would be a great feature

Would be great too if you could control type of shipping method for the free shipping

Doesn't Q's mod in that thread take care of this for you? Using it means free shipping is never available when that product is in the cart, but at least you can not offer free shipping on that item, like you want.

It's exactly what I was looking for in this thread. I have just a few products for which I want shipping added, so the solution works good.

The first solution provided by Q in the thread above works like a charm!

Thank you!

Well, I talked too soon. Problem:

I choose the product for which I want shipping added. Its' value exceeds 399 (minimum set for free shipping).
I then choose NO in the Inclusive box.
Status is set to Active.

Well, this product it's ok at checkout, it doesn't offer free shipping.
BUT, all of the other products which are priced under 399 show free shipping at checkout.

Am I doing something wrong?

So I can't use it in 1.4.9.3 ?

Practically it's ok for the product I need it for, but not for the rest of the products which are below the free shipping value (399).

So, what I did was correct.

I used the attached package in my live shop, running on 1.4.9.3
In my test shop I upgraded to 1.4.9.5

I have the same problem on both of them:
1. Products that don't reach the free shipping limit (399) now have free shipping at checkout, even they are set not to have it.
2. The product that although exceeds the free shipping limit (399) and for whom I want shipping cost to be added works OK if I select it in the window to the right and set the Inclusive to NO.

The issues you mention are actually bugs in the code. The fixes are here:

Now it's working ok, on both 1.4.9.3 (live shop) and 1.4.9.5 (testing site).

Thank you very much!

P.S. Any news about releasing the Gritter? :)

I got the same bug in 1.5.1.1, but those 2 files above didn't help.

Got a newer solution, Q?
