Downloading..

first of all sorry for my bad english but i hope u will undarstand my problme
I wan to sell a program. The program is only "downloadable".
So the customer can download this program after paying. The problem is, the customer can't download the program after paying and I don't know why?
I have uploaded the program in .zip- format, after I generat the item, i have checked th shipping to "NO", than I have chekced the donwload link, but it doesn't works..
Can u tell me please how can I make a downloadable item?
And it works with all payment method?
I want to be automatical, the customer pay for it than downaload in your profile, but it wont works

Make sure that the "Order Status" is sufficient to permit downloading.

You do not mention what version you are using, but with 1.4 you should try this:

Go to Admin > System > Settings and choose the Option tab. Down towards the bottom, make sure that "Allow Downloads" is set to "Yes". Also set "Download Order Status" to be whatever step in the sales process you require for the download to be permitted. Typically, this should be left as "Complete", so the customer is only allowed to download the product after you have received your money.
