Moving opencart on the server

Hi All,

I currently have opencart up on a test address a few directories behind the live address.

We are now looking to move the site onto the live address and will need to add the entire directory up a few steps.

Can this be done by simply changing the store location in the admin area and dragging the folders over?

OR is there a more suited way of doing this?
