Any chance you can add the ability to send the wish list by email to friends?
Right now it seems like the wish list is more like a "store this for later"-list as it is only possible to view your own list once logged in.

This would allow the list to be used for customers to send to friends/family for birthday gifts, weddings etc...
Also in a more complex and more uniform way how about being able to allow others to see the lists on the site and to buy from that, although this would most likely be difficult to integrate so most likely an extension at best for this idea

I hacked somehting together quickly to achieve this. Basically i copeied the table code in Wishlist.tpl and placed this inside a hidden a form on the page, linked it up to pretty photo and added a custom mamde conact script (that sends emails in html format). Was pretyt easy to do but defintly isn't the best solution a module would be great.
The problem with wishlists is that web hosts limits per hour (rarely unlimited) the outgoing emails for their clients. If one or ten customers gets on the site to send a wishlist, it is surely useful but when it comes to hundreds of customers - in the end, it gets messy which is why it is best to have a "store this for later'.
