special offer / sale

I would like to see special offer / sale (discount) products promoted on the home page, where it tell buyer that what is normal price and how much you are going to save etc..

Yep, I second that. It is IMO one of the important functionalities of any e-shop so I was quite surprised when I didn't find it.
The discounted price should be clearly visible in the catalog and the product description (something like a scored old price and a bright new price).

I third this!!!
