I've checked the forum for information on formatting the date. The date format appearing on my admin, customer info, etc. is month/day/year; June/Wed/2011.
I changed the date format within the main english.php files in the language/english folder from DD/MM/YY to MM/DD/YY and now I get June/Wed/2011.
How do I get it to appear as June/03/2011?

Be careful of capitalization. D and d, M and m are not the same.
A capital D will give you the textual day of the week. A lower case d will give you the numeric day of the month.
A capital M will give you the textual month of the year. A lower case m will give you the numeric month of the year.
