Shipping Weight

How can I make it so that my shipping is calculated by weight?

I'm a noob so go easy on me. ;)

OMG N00B! :P

You can use the Zone Shipping module. Set up a zone and then use the zone shipping to set a weight:cost ratio

When I changed the ratio, the store prices stayed exactly the same... why is that?

you need to enable at least 1 shipping method
