Blank store screen

I installed the cart on my local machine - Mac OS X, Apache, PHP 5.2.0, MySQL 5.0.27-max, the admin section works fine, but when I try to access the store I get a blank screen.

It seems that it dying when it tries to access the database.php file. Any thoughts?

hm well lets start with some basics..

url - to see blank screen..  --  ah is there any content in the /config.php file if so what is it..

copy paste to site and XXXX out username & passwords

Same issue here.  Admin ok but no store displayed, and no error messages.

Using the older PHP4 version.  Config file looks ok as far as I can tell, but maybe not....
