What is the correct way of changing an admin (Top Admin) password without messing anything up? Last time I was told to go through Admin/settings/users and simply type in a new password. What that did was lock me out and prevented me from making any changes to my site.
Thanks

The best way is to create a new user e.g. "newadmin" (Has to be and administrator) via Admin/settings/users and then log out... log in in your new user (e.g. "newadmin")... change the password on your other administor (e.g. "admin") via Admin/settings/users the log out... now your password has changed... log back in with your old adminisrtator user (e.g. "admin") and then go to Admin/settings/users and delete the administrator user that you had created earlier ("newadmin")...

Sorry this is the log way around but it is safe...

Thanks
