Hi!
First: Thanks to all of the OC-team; you are the best! :)

I have a client who wants a module that puts a bundle of predifined products into the shopping cart. I have browsed all the available extensions in the OC-site, with no luck. :choke:

This is how I think it might work:
In admin I set up a product that contains several other products instead of "the product". Eg: the shop sells car parts. We set up a product that is a complete exhaust system. When the customer adds the complete system to the cart, it fills up with all the items the complete system is made of.
This will make it easier for the shop owner to pick all parts needed, and the customer can edit the list if he/she wants to.

:clown: If I'm asking about an extension thats already made, please direct me to it!

All the best,

I will have to program this during the next month. Until then, I made a intermediate solution, where all related products to the current product are also added to the cart (same amount though).
This way you can 'abuse' the related products option to realize primitive product bundling.
For the first phase of my software this is enough, maybe it helps you too.

Hey ckonig,
thanks for the really fast reply.

How do I use the file you attached?

This might be an allright workaround until a full module is in place. If I can help test, let me know! :)

this is a vQmod file. Search this forum on how to install vQmod. It allows you to modify your system temporarily, so if you dont like it - just delete the file and all changes are undone.
