I am getting an error: Email sender required!
when someone signs up for account, requests lost password. I also get the error when logged in as administrator and attempt to send a newsletter to customers.

now i get magicquotes error after installing v1.1.8
client is on a godaddy server (inorite) and updating .htaccess does seem to fix it becuase it is not a dedicated server.
I am going back to v1.0 and hopefully just add a code snippet to fix email sender? is that possible?

I have moved the client from godaddy to a dedicated host
The emial issues, as well as the magicQuotes issue (which appeared when i updated to newer version), is resolved. Everything is working fine on the new host.
I had never worked with godaddy database before, and being more a designer than developer, there hosting seems very strange to me.
