Where to find version information, so I know what version I'm upgrading.

Hello,

It's available on the main site in the top left corner under the logo "Latest Version" and the zip file is also named with the version number.

I guess he means the version he installed himself. So say he doesn't kno if he's on 1.1.4, 1.1. etc...

I suggest to have a version info in the config file. It's mandatory.

Well, if that's the case, any text file dropped into the root with the version number should do the trick lol

Having the version display somewhere in the admin section would be preferable.

I agree, the version number should be placed somewhere in the admin. The footer is IMO the best and simpler place.
