I mean no offense but I'd like to replace the Queens flag with the American flag where it says English. I'd also like to make the default currency as USD.
Can this be done? If so how.
Thanks much

The Queens flag shall never be removed!

;D

Just change the uk.png in your Admin -> Settings -> languages -> English to us.png

Just tried that, the only choice is ENGLISH.... I am in Ireland and would prefer a non political flag like simply a PNG saying EN...
No big deal though, my first post here and being using the program since this morning...

just make your png, name it the same filename as whatever the Queen's flag filename is and copy it over.

It seems that depending on your installation of what languages/flags are available.

I was the same en.png was the only choice.....with a little trial and error here is what I came up with and it works fine.

To change from the UK flag and replace with the USA flag I did this, it also worked for the Irish flag. Having an Irish wife I had to figure this out for her. Up Tipp !!!

1. Login as admin
2. Go to System / Localisation / Languages
3. On the English (default) move over to right and click EDIT
4. In the Image box use us.png for the USA and for Ireland use ie.png
5. Don't forget to click SAVE

I have tried both us.png and ie.png and both flags look great. The next install for one of my Irish customers and I'll get to use it!!!

This helped me too, although I'm debating on whether to remove the reference to language and currency altogether since we will never venture outside the US.

Thanks.

@bgsman - this worked perfectly. After replacing the flag I thought about removing it entirely...I'll have my payment gateway handle the international orders and convert USD's...so no reason to have the language or the currency showing. I removed it.

@BulletJules - So you removed the flag and currency? If so, how? I'm thinking of doing the same and could use that real estate for something else.
