Display prices whit taxes

Hi,

I want that the prices showned on my site is without taxes ( VAT ) and only when the customer go to checkout the taxes are added to products.

I have tried to set "display prices whit taxes" to off but the price of the product is always with the taxes ......

What I must do to have this function ?
Where I wrong ?

I have seen a strange behavior.
I explain.

I use firefox to edit the site. In the first tab I open the connection with mysql, in the second tab I open the connection with OC admin side and in third tab I open the connection with OC client side.

I have seen that the language selected on client side ( on the third tab ) can modify the behavior of admin site. If I select the Italian language on client side the products on admin side is displayed in a no correct way.
If I select again the english language on the client side I see that on the admin site the products are displayed in a correct way.

Is normal this behavior ?
