So we've all heard the question (repeatedly) "When can we expect 1.5 final to be released?" But what nobody has asked thus far is why is everybody sweatin it so bad!

For me, it would have to be the affiliate system. I see it as one of the best ways to market a website and get business really going.

So, tell us the #1 reason why you are craving OC 1.5 final to be released. :D

I'm craving it so we can move from the proprietary .net system we're currently stuck with that has no API access and a database that's untouchable for our import/export and product update needs. 5 years ago when we started our site there wasn't anything even close those OpenCart's capabilities without a $30,000 price tag. I'm blown away by its core strengths and ability to customize where necessary. I was setup and ready to go with 1.4.9, but decided to wait until 1.5.0 came out to see if some of the "customization" we need would be included. I'm hopeful that it will release soon, but am willing to wait until it's solid so we can migrate our store over to the OpenCart platform.

Could SOMEONE show me how to setup the SVN everyone talks about so that I can load the "latest" version of 1.5 as it's being developed? I'll be happy to compensate whomever can get us lined up with 1.5 for testing purposes...

Cheers to Daniel and the rest of the contributors to date!

Easiest way is to use the linux command line (if you have ssh access). If not, you can use TortoiseSVN on a local windows copy, and download/export that way. To be fair, the RC1 has already had a number of the SVN updates applied to the download since the original RC1, so it might be easier to just download that and install as per usual using FTP
