Hi All,

I am currently evaluating OpenCart for a new site I'm building and I've hit a snag. Everything about OC seems to be great (speed, stability, ease of customization), but I can't figure out a way to speed up the order management process.

Ideally, I'd like a way to bulk 'download' orders, which means that they are in the pick/pack/processing process. This will enable me to batch print pack lists and shipping labels. It might then upload tracking and mark the orders as shipped.

I know zencart and hosted carts such as 3dcart have integrations with services such as Shipwire. Is there anything like this for OpenCart? I know there isn't Shipwire integreation (yet), but what about other order management and/or label printing options? I will be running this business out of my house and have a million things to deal with, so ideally I'd like to be able to batch order process & ship as much as possible.

Anyone have any ideas how to do this?

Thanks for your help!

Josh

me too, seems mad that if you get 100 orders you have to go to each individual order to update them or notify customer they have been dispatched.

Well, there's a couple of extensions available to do this

My own (cough) Delivery Note, Packing List extension
http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=2954

and a Bulk Update Extensions
http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=3296

Maybe the above will satisfy your requirements ?

It shouldn't be long until Shipstation support opencart, a matter of about a week and a half.

We all know the feeling! Any automation is great at saving time and quite potentially lots of money, I've made script which 'borrow's images of the manufactures website, simple but saved hours

If anybody needs any more integrations done, contact me and I'll contact the respective parties and look at getting it developed.

Thomas / smifis, can you please contact us? We haven't heard from you in a week and a half, and we have several OpenCart sellers who are anxious to have this integration in place. Thanks!

Does any one know if someone has developed a generic module for shipworks yet?

Go to ShipStation's website and contact them, the more people who do, the better. I contacted them a week ago and they said they would have one ready in a couple weeks.

Due to an unfortunate turn of events this month, I'm behind with all of my clients. I am however on it.

Regarding the original post:

I've released a Shipwire Integration extension that will pull shipping rate information from Shipwire, send orders to Shipwire after they're placed in OpenCart, and update the order in OpenCart with tracking information when the order is marked as "shipped" in Shipwire. It also keeps your stock levels in sync, or you can manually pull the Shipwire stock levels into OpenCart.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
