FREE SSL CERTIFICATES FOR OPENSOURCE

Came across this when I was researching prices and SSL certificates on Godaddy.com

Standard SSL certificates through Godaddy.com are on sale for $12.99 / reg.$49.99

At the bottom of the page I found this link

http://www.godaddy.com/ssl/ssl-open-sou ... sc=gdbb687

Didn't read enough about it to learn as to whether or not a person can utilize this on an there opencart website or not but from the looks of it, I doubt it. I believe it would work for the developers of open cart. Anyways, just thought it might be something to look into for someone who knows more about open source and SSL certificates than my noob self...

After studying up a bit more on this, it is for those who develop programs, software or shopping carts such as "opencart". Therefore the developers of opencart should be able to easily get approved for at a 1 yr. SSL certificate. Whether the Certificate is worth getting or not I don't know. The fact that it's "free" might be worth it. ;D
