Installed the latest version of Open-cart 1.4.9.4
Using Softaculous to install it.
Using Filezilla to upload files/images etc.

This is a new site / New Install

When I open my files within Filezilla I see that my opencart files are installed in the www folder as well as the html_public folder.
I was just wondering if this is normal. If not can I just delete all the files from the www folder. If i upload images to one folder it uploads to both areas www and the html_public.

My next question is I cannot back up my site by using the opencart admin ( system >backup/restore)
I get this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 84 bytes) in /home/ddfarrow/public_html/system/database/mysql.php on line 29

Thanks

Question 1: www and public_html are the same place, www is called a symbolic link, and it is like a windows shortcut. Do not delete it!

Question 2: Your backup is too big and is requiring more memory to import than your webhost is allowing you to have. You may need to contact them to increase your memory limit or help you out with it.

Solved!!! Contacted Arvixe support - memory increased, backup successful. ;)
