As there is currently no confirmation dialog when deleting products, categories, customers, orders, etc. It can be somewhat dangerous if you accidentally click the delete button if something is accidentally checked.
Same goes for uninstalling modules, which is even easier to do. It can be a pain trying to retrieve account ids and passwords.

So I created a javascript that adds a confirmation popup to delete buttons and uninstall links.
It should work on all versions. Even 1.4.0
Supported OpenCart Versions:
================
All versions

What does it do:
================
This contrib adds a javascript that will add a confirmation popup box to all "Delete" buttons and "uninstall" links

Main features:
==============
* Javascript. Not version specific.
* No code to change. Automatically adds a the confirmation box to any element with a delete/uninstall href.

How to install it:
==================
1) Unzip and upload the contents of the upload folder to the root of your OpenCart install. No files are overwritten
2) Add script to header.tpl (or layout.tpl in older versions):
a) Edit: admin/view/template/common/header.tpl
b) FIND:
---------------------
<script type="text/javascript" src="view/javascript/jquery/tab.js"></script>
---------------------
c) AFTER, ADD:
---------------------
<script type="text/javascript" src="view/javascript/jquery/confirm_popup.js"></script>
---------------------

Works like a charm but I noticed that in Admin->Settings shows all information at one page and tabs not working. Fix?

Must be somehow related to this 'cause if I remove from header.tpl that confirm javascript call Settings tabs are in use again... has anyone else this same problem?

This has been part of the core for almost 2 years now.. you don't need this. Just upgrade

Ah thanks for reply.. didn't notice it yet. But do you know if there is a similar extension for the maps in the image uploader? Yesterday a colleague deleted the entire image map accidentally.. A confirmation on those image maps would be awesome.

Upgrade to which version? In 1.4.9.3, I can't tell you how many times I accidentally deleted a product option when I wanted to add another one. It is easy to forget that OC has a remove button where most programs have a confirm button! This remove button does not have any confirmation dialog. Is it new to 1.4.9.4, or is it new to 1.5.0?

Perhaps you built such a pop-up into your paid options extensions, but it is not in the core. If you press the Remove button at the bottom of either an Option or an Option Value input page the information you just typed in will be irretrievably lost without any warning. I moments ago confirmed this behavior in 1.4.9.3.

Who you gonna believe? It IS in the core and has been since 1.4.8. PERIOD!
