It's been a while since I used Google Base, and while registering the new data feed with Google they are now asking for an "Item Type." Since the only choices are Events, Jobs and Vehicles or Custom, I select Custom. Now a new box pops up asking for the Custom Item Type.
I've tried numerous things in this box, and it doesn't seem to care what I put there: Product, RSS 1.0, NASCAR or even ASDFASDF. I do get to upload my file and Google appears to insert my products just fine.
My question is: what SHOULD go in the "Item Type" box, and why?
