I have a problem with my server host. I recently contacted them and asked them to open up TCP AND UDP 30000 for me to connect to Canada post. btw my serverhost is siteground.com. they sent this back to me:
Thank you for the update.

We are happy to inform you that the provided IP address/port was successfully allowed in our server firewall. Now, your application should be able to connect to the remote IP address through the mentioned port :

# iptables -nL -v | grep 66.110.6.131

0 0 ACCEPT udp -- * * 0.0.0.0/0 66.110.6.131 udp dpt:30000
0 0 ACCEPT tcp -- * * 0.0.0.0/0 66.110.6.131 tcp dpt:30000

Please check the results on your end.

Im using Canadapost 1.7. and I have set my Canada post server as 66.110.6.131 and even tried default sellonline.canadapost.ca. My port that i put in was 30000. It did not work. I keep on getting a error message of Error connecting to Canada Post.
Any help?
