Ok so im so feed up with this manager. I mean really what is the point. It should be just an option under the settings menu to where you can go remove photos or mange photos. But not for what it is used for. Product images should be handled by the SQL with a simple upload button. We have the do the work twice. Once to arrange them in the pc by brand or vendor or what not and then go in the server and do the same things. On top of the fact that you menu does not strays extended where you have to waist 20 to 30 seconds per image just remembering in witch folder you uploaded it, you also get in a total mess when you upload additional photos. I found some code that somebody has posted but it did not work. i will do my best to try and modify this and share it.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

After you organized them on your pc. Use your ftp client and upload them in your opencart root folder /image/data .
I ment to upload your folders directly , and then , when you insert the prodcut image , you just select the images in image manager because they are allready uploaded.
Tot respectul!
