Shop not functional due to inactive links [solved]

Hello,
I'm trying to get OpenCart V0.7.8 to work on our website www.ecokleen.co.uk. I've installed the application with no trouble in to my PC that runs Apache. Once I have created the template I've required, I've tried installing the application to our server but it is not functioning as it should be.

Problems encountered:
- Links not working


The links are clickable but does not point to the right page. At first, the application would throw a error page by default saying 'The page you've requested cannot be found'.
I have read a few threads about URL Alias, I've tried putting This did not fix my problem.

I've installed a SEO patch that was posted in this forum and since then, product images started appearing on the home page but still none of the links are functional.

Any help that would put me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

OpenCart is installed at : http://ecokleen.co.uk/shop/
Site is hosted with Godaddy.com
A temp ftp login can be arranged for anyone who would offer help.
I am willing to pay anyone who can actually solve this problem fully.

Well, there are a lot of problems with v0.7.8.

If possible, I would ask that you upgrade to the latest version of 0.7.9. Be sure to read the install.txt file for the upgrade process.
