Is there a way to only apply the auto discount to certain customer groups?

Customer Group Discount is a different mod:

I bought that one but the auto discount is also taken off of the groups that have the customer group discount. So in a sense our wholesale customers are getting two discounts.

Well yea.. they are 2 separate mods.. one takes discounts from all.. one gives discounts to individual groups.. you would never use them both together.

Okay, well this is what I am trying to do. Regular customer group, spend $XXX get $XXX discount auto. That same discount, I do not want to have it apply to the wholesale customer group. Can this be done?

Set Group b to get 20% off 100, 25% off 250, 30% off 600, etc

It shows Discount Amount:
(10.00 or 10%).

Can I specify a subtotal requirement to gain the discount like I can in the auto discount module?

I do believe that is exactly what Q just described for you. In his example, the first discount step comes when the subtotal reaches $100. At that level, Group A gets 10% off and Group B gets 20% off. And so on. You can set different thresholds and different discounts for each group.

Yes they both work with the same "range" design and multiple discount points

I tried setting the customer group to 20:100 and it took 20 off no matter what the sale was vs. the minimum of $100.

20:100 means it will take 100 dollars off a total of 20.. meaning you owe your customers 80 :P

You want 100:0, 200:20

the total amount goes first, then the discount

It doesnt seem to be working. Take a look at the cart in the left in the attachment. Youll see it shows $60 - $20 instead of it waiting for the full $100 to give the $20 off.

For the single values like 20%, 30% try:
9999999:20%
9999999:30%
etc
