"USPS Live Rates" addon question.

Does the USPS Live Rates addon do dimension calculations as described in the thread over here? http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=114&t=11096

If it does not, will it work with the dimension calculation "patch" included in that thread?

no it doesn't include it. And the patch was designed for the USPS module that comes with opencart. Try that one first

Can the patch be made to work with the addon without too much fuss?

@hondaman, it may be a few months too late but I just created the Weight3D module that estimates shipping by dimension and weight. It doesn't talk live with USPS server to obtain the latest rates so you will need to enter the rates manually. If you're interested, more information is available at:
