Allright I was not sure where to post this one maybe it is meant to be in the off topic section. Please move it there if I have made a mistake. So basically I want to install opencart to a free host what provides: MYSQ, no baner ads and enough space for opencart so I can tweak my site live too so people can see it. I have a payed host and domain but i dont wnat to upload it there. I just could not find a working one. Can anyone suggest me a free host what have been tryed before and opencart works on it? I managed t try like 5 of them but they proven t o be a big fail, slow and not user friendly. Any kind of help is appreciated!
thanks, adam

Yeah I know. I allready have a payed host and domains I just wanted to give this a try. Im having really hard time with it doing it free so ill just give it up and subscribe to an internation al host because with hungarian providers take ages to set up a domain. Btw your spihippng price per product module works awesome for me Qphoria it saved a lt of time for me so thx!:P
I can hook you up with a server in the UK or US where there are already dozens of OpenCart sites. No problems, good to go whenever you are.
Not free, but well worth the few dollars per month.

As the OP has already said, he has paid hosting already
What strikes me as odd is why can't you set up a subdomain? There's no lead time really, you can use your existing hosting assuming they allow subdomains which most do, so there's no cost implications
@Q I used to actually give away free accounts - for no gain whatsoever. I still do to a couple of people, but yeah most will give crappy hosting, poor servers that are just resellers anyway and no support, useless amounts of space, email, mysql etc, or put ads on your site. I've even known some put malware on your site without you knowing, which is why I would never use one.

Just as I mentionad Hungarian hosts are different. To setup a domain name here looks like this: you cant pay on the net for the domain, you have to print out an offical contract and fill it out with a pen, you have to send it by mail, you haveto wait for it to be approved, you have to go to the bank and pay the fees, once everything have been set you have an activation time for the domain what takes 14-21 days. This all for a .hu domain name. And yes the process is the same for a .com domain too. When I started workig on websites I did not know how it goes at international hosts. Ill subscribe to BluesHost for inernational domain names and hosting, and the rest of my .hu domains will be hosted by the old one. I didnt want my domain to end with .hu or any of my other sites name thats why I was looking for it.JAY6390 wrote:As the OP has already said, he has paid hosting already
