Authorize.net AIM Transaction with wrong Expiration and CVV2

I'm configuring my authorize.net and when I'm placing orders in test mode or in live mode... it seems to process the orders even if wrong data is entered like the expiration date and the cvv2 code. The orders go through even if the cvv2 field is left blank.

obviously though when I check with authorize.net the transactions were declined....but I can't figure out why my site (authorize.net aim module) is letting these transaction through without popping up an error for the shopper.

Someone....anyone...opencart expert.... please help

The gateway controls what it accepts. Login to your authorize.net account and confugure the gateway to validate cvv and exp
