well how are the links going to be made?
If you are going to have something static like the image name, but at another site, then you could use it. But if you are going to have completely different links per product, then you'd need to add some extra coding.
I could do it for $10

OK... Here's how I would like it to work:
1. In Admin=>Catelog => Products => Data tab, add a field called URL. If a URL is entered then it goes to that URL, if a URL is not entered then it will show the large image.
I would also like you to install some Contributions:
2. Export/ Import
3. Shopper Tracker Report
4. Authorize.net SIM, Google Checkout, and PayPal Improved
Please let me know the fee

- Installed all the contribs you wanted except Google Checkout, as I think JNeuhoff is rewriting that to better fit with Google's Terms of Service.
- Added new field called "image_link" on the product->data tab
--- If left null, the image link opens a larger image
--- If set to a website, the image links to the site.
- I also updated you to the latest SVN version, it will likely be 0.7.9 RC6, which has supporting files for the new paypal and some bug fixes. I renamed your old template "default" to "webdesign". You should never edit the default template, always make a new one and make changes to that one to avoid overwriting the folder when upgrading. You can select the new template in the admin->configuration->setting->shop tab
