Hey all

Our customer got their first sale in Europe today which is great. However the money received was in Euros. We would prefer only GBP. Or does it not make any difference? I assume PayPal just convert it all anyway? Although I think they make a conversion charge?

We are using PayPal Standard.

I have set the site to only accept GBP under currencies, but will this limit the people who can pay?

Also, we assumed that the site would only display in GBP. If someone from the US or europe register beofre making a purchase, will the prices change to their local currency?

Really appreciate your guidence on this one.

using Opencart 1.4.9.3

You have 2 options.

1. Forcibly change the confirmation page to your currency, showing the customer the final total in your forced currency:

2. Allow the customer to keep their selected currency, but change it to your chosen currency for the paypal part of it:

Thanks Q!

I also need these solutions to my multi currency problem (PP_Standard - Possible Scam: IPN/PDT Price does not match).

Personally, I prefer 2nd method and it is working like a charm.

My request is that maybe you could make these code configurable in paypal module so I don't have to worry about forgetting to replace this code in the next open cart update.

:laugh:
