Hello, Today i started working with ssl in combination with opencart but i can't see to get it working.
First off: i changed the admin page to login so the admin map and admin links are changed to login!

The host enabled ssl it on the server. but this are the symptoms
if ssl is enabled in the backend and I changed the http:// to https:// in the login/config file,
It doesn't show images on the 'http://www.MYSITE.nl/logim' page. And when i try to login it doesn't login it says it can't find the page (error 404). and shows this link on top of the browser: https://www.MYSITE.nl/login

And on the webshop itself when a costumer tries to login the login page doesn't show. (error 404)

The both links have in the url https:// but don't show. for example in the admin login. The link says http:// and when i try to login it says https:// and shows not found (404 error)

Also on the admin login page there are no images to be seen..

When i remove the s in the https:// the admin login pages shows all the images. But the links still don't work..

I also got a static ip adress from the host.. am i supposed to do somthing with it?
Can anyone help me?

Thank you

It seems like that url is not adapting to the configuration ive set in the admin backend.

Somehow i still can't seem to get the pages viewed. As soon as there is https:// infront of any url. It shows blank (error 404).

Anyone?

- Google also shows this problem with other carts, but people don't share what resolves it. ??? Do you have a separate folder for httpsdocs by any chance (eg, Plesk setup)?

If the domain has recently been moved to another ip it could be that that is at fault, since the SSL won't be up to date at that minute. I had that problem recently, and it took a couple of days to resolve it

When a domain moves you need to allow up to 72 hours for propogation to fully take effect. Once it has your site should be just fine with the new SSL
