My contact form dont work

Hi everyone, I'm really furstated because I installed OpenCart in my server and I cannot configure correct the e-mail to receive alerts or something. I put PHP Mail and no work, later I tried with SMTP configuration and happen exactly the same, I dont have notifications and the form in the webpage didnt work.

some important things:

- I'm used a VPN in hostgator.com, like this forum recommend
- I have enabled PHP Mail in the server (WHM)
- I also installed a new OpenCart (blank) and also It didnt work (so, it's not the template)

Maybe someone can help me, please I dont have more ideas.
