Sneak Peek: OpenCart 1.5.0 *ALPHA*

Just that somebody was wondering about a before Easter release date ... so figured I'd check in on the bunny himself.
As for the jackalope, I've only seen them mounted on a wall

But that did come out sort of humorous didn't it
One at his computer ... and the other hard to catch in the wild

Something small that I would like to see in admin. When you're looking at all of your products: put the pagination at the top as well as the bottom. I hate scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the page to skip though pages.

Come to think of it, this is probably just an easy change to the tpl file. Might try it out.

lol actually it was that post that prompted me to do it. I had seen requests like that before so I took a couple of minutes and created the vqmod files.

I just wish people would stop requesting new additions / changes to 1.5 and let Daniel wrap up what he already has going... There will be plenty of time for additions and updates to the future versions, why keep forcing delays on this release?

If some basic would be not missing, people would not ask for.

Granted I meant "changes to existing" not "new additions".. but thats fine

Can we change the status in the products list?So we can enable or disable some items more quickly,no need to click "edit" one by one.maybe like this...

That is planned and I thought about starting to add it in v1.4.9.4..

The same fix I posted for it was added to 1.4.9.3
The other fix that xsecrets found with moving the store_id, language_id, etc to the join instead of the clause will be added

LOL sorry.. I've branched the 1.4.x in SVN now and I'm going to upload the 1.5.0 code to the trunk soon. There are some bits of the code I really don't like (hardcoded names!!!) so I'm trying to work with daniel to change them.

I agree. I'd change the 'Status' column title to 'Enabled' and then in each row just have a tick or a cross. Clicking on the tick or cross will change it to the other.

Also why is there an 'Edit' link at all? Why not just link the title of the item so that clicking edits it?

I wonder if there will be a way do identify the items by their options... let's say for example that I'm selling 4 t-shirts with these specifications:
1 red Large
2 blue Large
1 green Small
On the product page I would see 2 option fields, one for colors and one for size. From what I tested, atm the system allows you to buy 1 red small one...
