So I'm trying to configure the UPS shipping, and all I seem to get is an 111057 error stating This measurement system is not valid for the selected country.

Google told me that this is a pretty well known error which can be fixed by setting the correct measurements for the selected country (duh :)) but that is exactly what I did.

Went so far as to change Kilogram (dutch) to kilograms, and same for kg / kgs, tried pounds, etc. but no result. Well; if I change weight code "kgs" to "kg" I get another error stating "110546: kg is not a valid unit of measurement for weight for this shipment" so the weight code should be correct.

Same goes for measurement in size, tried virtually every combination but keep getting the error.

Long story short; I have no idea what to fix. If I could var_dump the results the OC extension sends and cross check those with UPS requirements I might find the solution, but I don't know how.

Anyone?

Merchboer,

Might sound silly, but I received the same error when I placed "kg" or "kgs" or whatever in the "Weight Code:" field of the UPS XML shipping extension that comes with OpenCart. Try leaving it blank and see what happens. For me, this stopped the error.

You are my absolute hero of the day! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I've been breaking my head over this and even called UPS technical support (which I shouldn't have, always bad for your mood), but this just solved it.

leaving it blank isn't really recommended. But it should be capital KGS or LBS

OpenCart Version 1.5.5.1
I have been working on this for days... I have read so many posts and tried so many different things I don't know if I'm coming or going. OK, so my issue is like so many others. - "110546: OZ is not a valid unit of measurement for weight for this shipment" Much like others and I cant get UPS to work at all. I did have USPS working fine but my shipper changed to UPS and I need to get it going.
------------------------------------------------
United Parcel Service (Weight: 1.47OZ) << this is bold
110546: OZ is not a valid unit of measurement for weight for this shipment << this is the error obviously
------------------------------------------------
Can anyone help me with this please.

I have tried so much I cant list it all here with any clarity so I'm not going to confuse the issue more. Just let me know what info is needed to start and I would be happy to get it.

OpenCart Version 1.5.5.1

I have read and tried so many posts on this issue I don't know if I'm coming or going.

Website - http://www.viennavictoria.com you can see the error during shipping confirmation before billing.
Error - (below is two examples of the error)
-------------
United Parcel Service (Weight: 1.47OZ)
110546: OZ is not a valid unit of measurement for weight for this shipment
-------------
United Parcel Service (Weight: 13.50g)
110546: G is not a valid unit of measurement for weight for this shipment
-------------

The error displays with whatever weight is chosen (OZ, LBS, g, KGS)

Can someone please help?!

I did'nt hear back from anyone but that forced me to give it a 30th look... I think i figured it out so I wanted to post my finding in case it may help someone with this issue since it looks common.
(To add, I had completed USPS configuration first and it worked fine, then someone changed who they wanted to use for shipping to UPS)
See my issue post above first...
I went back to UPS's website and found that they round up to 1 pound. My items are all configured for Ounces or Grams. Since the billing will round up anyway I configured a test item for 1.0 pounds and set Pounds throughout my weight defaults. Cleared the cache in my brouser and purchased that item, this time the UPS shipping options and prices were there and looked correct (3 Day at $3.67 - Next day $12.28)
I can only figure I setup my weights to specific for UPS (since it worked fine that way with USPS?!)

I hope this can help someone, cause I had a hard time without help
