Hi peoples,

I'm in need of sorting my shipping out. Firstly I have two options installed. I

I want to use a heaviest shipping weight. How would I achieve this.

example. customer buys say 41 items that cost 55 cents to send the shipping module out 55 cents but if the customer added a product that cost 5.00 to send then the shipping would come in at the heaviest weight price of 5.00.

Hope that was clear.

How are you setting the cost for each item?
There is a shipping by product mod that allows this. Then you can edit the rate calculation to take the highest price instead of the sum

Hi Q

I don't know if that can be set up to do. Tell me what you think after reading this.

What I want is if the person buys a packet of buttons it's shipping is .55 cents However if they buy three different types of buttons it's shipping is still .55 cents. If they add a packet of stickers and it costs .55 cents then shipping is still .55 cents. If they add something that costs 3.50 to send then shipping becomes that.

Can that module be set for that. The way I have read it is that it would go up with each different item. But a mult of the same item would remain the same.

The way I have shipping set at the moment is this

1:0.75,10:2.50,30:3.00,40:15.50,50:18.00,99:18.00

I also want to get a courier option flat rate but not to PO Boxes going but not using the couriers that already on the list in the standard default cart. I am a New Zealand company and use a new zealand company

Cheers

This person above made a module up for me. Hope this helps anyone else who is looking for the type of shipping I was looking for.

The module has been working fine for about two months now.

Good luck and a huge thank you to those who posted and helped me with this.

Regards
