Flat Rate Shipping - Orders over x amount FREE

Over the last few weeks I have been looking at OpenCart with a view to using it for my next ecommerce project. Overall I have found OpenCart to be a superb solution (out of the box so to speak) however I am a bit surprised to find that it does not offer a shipping module which charges a fixed flat rate amount for orders under x amount spent with orders over x amount FREE.

Example

Orders under £50.00 = £3.99 Shipping

Orders over £50.00 = FREE Shipping

I have spent some time looking for a 3rd party module that could offer me this kind of functionality with no luck, so if anyone happens to know of one which is compatable with v1.4.9.1 would you let me know please.

I know of two off-hand: my Total-Based Shipping Module and Qphoria's Zone Plus module. His is a bit more full-featured than mine, and can do restriction based on zip codes as well as weight or item count, but if you just need total-based shipping, either should work fine for you.

Thank you for your input Johnathan, your mod is just what I am looking for all I do now is find out if anyone has written a convertion script to transfer data from CubeCart 4 to OpenCart 1.4.9.1 (1.4.9.2)

No one has posted about using it yet, but there's this Cart2Cart service. Other than, you could use the Import/Export Tool and manually convert everything in a spreadsheet.

Things are now starting to take shape, as the migration aspects may not be as time consuming as I first thought.

Yes of cause both are unrelated, but did I speak to you about a CubeCart migration script? i.e. CubeCart to OpenCart.
